One of my friends posted this statement as her status and a woman challenged this statement. She commented that people attacked her to the point that she lost her job based on their lies and judging. I can remember working for a major company and loving that job with everything in me. So often we allow our jobs to define us and rather allowing ourselves to define the job. We are living in times where companies no longer have loyalty to employees. Their bottom line and stockholders take priority over everything else. Is this right, no but its the times we are living in. If you are working with people that create a hostile work environment and are allowed to sabotage an individual, is this a really a job or company worth fighting for?

This is a great example of how outside forces impact an aspect of our lives. We can’t control other’s actions but we can control how react to them.
